New post, new city, new job

Well, it's been quite a while since my last blog post. There has however been a reason for this. I have left the wonderful town of Derby (which is sadly missed a lot) and have travelled to the city of bright lights (and dirty tubes) London!

I am now fortunate enough to spend my days designing at a wonderful company called RJB stone who make all manner of wonderful giftwares. Dream Job. I do however hope to start making more of my own things again and in particular work on a new children's book.

It's been quite a while since I have posted up any images and for a little while I  had to remove my blog as I have found someone selling my work on t-shirts in Portobello market. What are the chances! It makes me a little sad to think that many people have their work stolen and have very little power to do anything about it.

On a happier note I am delighted to start posting again and will be posting up new things very soon.

New Craft Fair

New Designers

I attended and exhibited at New Designers back in June and met a lovely lady from Creatives Inc. My work is now featured on their website and can be found here

Little Necklaces

Here's some little necklaces i've been working on that are made from recycled fabric. They will be in my Etsy shop soon to snap up :)

WORN magazine

I have recently finished a commission for WORN magazine, a lovely fashion magazine based in the states which is full of the weird and wonderful. I was asked to illustrate a piece about different hairstyles. I Loved it! Here's the results.

Eighty six'd

I was approached by the beautiful art gallery/cafe/shop/generally wonderful creative place, Eighty Six'd which is found in the lovely little town in Ironbridge. The shop stocks a variety of beautiful little treasures from a plethora of creatives and a few of my prints can be found there to buy right now! You can find Eighty six'd on facebook here

Lovely Commission

I've had a busy few weeks running workshops, undertaking commissions and making new things. It's been lots of fun. Here's some work from the first commission which was for a lovely lady from chicken house publishing who is starting her own children author's school and wanted some work done for her website. Here's the hand drawn alphabet and a little goose.
